Clarissa Richardson is an Assistant Professor at University of Idaho and is also a Licensed Psychologist trained in individual and group therapy as well as outreach and program evaluation. She teaches Abnormal Psychology and Survey of Helping Professions as well as oversees all undergraduate student internships. Her past research has focused on perfectionism, stress, and coping. More recently, her research has shifted to focus on using community-based paradigms for improving rural mental health disparities. She is motivated by her upbringing on a farm in rural Illinois and the high suicide rates in rural Idaho. In 2019, she founded the Idaho FORM Project with the help of her team of undergraduate students.
